Charter flight to EvenesAt 14:20 on March 6, 2010, an SAS airbus machine with about 220 Japanese on board arrived at Harstad / Narvik airport Evenes. The charter tour was provided by the tour operator Tumlare, and the aircraft arrived directly from Tokyo. A total of 8 coaches from the companies Arctic Bus, Bussring and Evensen was ready for the baggage and passengers by arrival. The passengers were divided into groups, each with their own tour leader. All luggage was well marked and sorted per coach, and the luggage handling was therefore done without any problems, while the passengers went through passport control. Approximately 45 minutes after landing, the passengers could leave the terminal building and board their respective coaches, where guides from Harstad and drivers did welcome them. The passengers could, after the first night stay in Harstad, experience the Lofoten Islands, Tromsø and North Cape. The SAS machine flew on to Copenhagen, where it again went into its regular flight schedule. |
